iOS and Android both read this from the camera app — no QR reader needed. If your phone doesn't offer to join, open Wi-Fi settings and pick IOT.
This is the guest network, and that's the point. It's separate from the main one: devices that join here reach the internet and nothing else — no printers, no cameras, no file shares, no other devices on it.
So handing this code to a visitor costs you nothing, and it's the code to hand out. The main network is not interchangeable with it.
